![]() ![]() That should give Favorite Hero the edge over Neos Force, and there are only so many equips a Neos deck can run. I prefer Favorite Hero, given the big buff, protection, facilitating of Field Spells from the deck, and of course, the extra attack. This card would’ve been fine on it’s own, but Favorite Hero already exists. Neos Force (SR): This is a flashy equip only for Neos, allowing him to be 3300, and inflict half burn based on the destroyed monster’s attack.Additionally, this isn’t a card you will need a ton of, for the fear of bricking hands. Further, the advantage of gaining attack with Dragons in the GY is negated when you bring back Red-Eyes onto the board. This card is far from amazing though, as there is a bit of setup to make it work, and other decks do it better. Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon lets you take advantage of that, by being a special summon, with the tributed Red-Eyes being able to be resurrected. Red-Eyes Darkness Dragon (UR): Before BEWD became masters of the GY, Red-Eyes did that a ton.Off: Heroes (-), Witchcrafter (-), Cyber Dragon (-), Ritual Beasts (-), Satellarknights (-).– : Duel Links Meta Power Rankings (Tier 3 now 3-5) ![]() Both of these decks run fewer cards than most TD decks. Top 4 – Ryo Pain w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: See above.Top 4 – Davide Magri w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: Thunder Dragons seem to have found the perfect Duel Skill for the Extra Deck plays.2nd – Njofraplay w/ Alternative Evolution BEWD: Blue-Eyes is a very linear deck, and I guess the notable thing is the deck runs 3x Raigeki Break over any Karma Cuts. This deck cuts down on discard traps, with just 1x Raigeki Break. 1st – groovy2 w/ Balance Noble Knight: The flavor of this Noble Knight deck is 3x Cosmic Cyclone, in addition to the 3x Arfeudutyr.Top 4 – Uchiha David w/ Balance BEWD: The genius way to fool everyone is to play meta deck 1B, while playing the main Duel Skill of meta deck 1A! BEWD decks were previously torn between the two Kaiba skills, but Balance will give the deck an edge in hiding the deck.Top 4 – dod SoftKun w/ Onomatoplay Onomatopoeia: This deck seems OTK-y, with the 2x Hey, Trunade! and 3x Gagagabolt.Level Duplication works well with the Xyz toolbox action here, as well as any ramping into the 2 Synchro monsters. 2nd – Fallen Angel w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: Thunder Dragons are a viable deck in the meta, and the availability of 3x Chaos Dragon Levianeer gives Chaos decks a chance.Sylvan Princessprite lives in an Extra Deck! Note that 11/20 cards in the deck are traps, so there is a ton of control to go around. 1st – Grucius w/ Draw Sense DARK Invoked Magician Girl: Not done yet! Despite running on handicaps from several banlists, the deck is pretty much doing the same thing.Top 4 – Refreshh w/ Ultimate Dragons BEWD: This is what most BEWD decks look like, and Book of the Moon will definitely separate you from the common BEWD deck.Top 4 – Leonardo w/ Master of Destiny Desperado: Desperado needs to adapt to survive in the meta, so this deck basically cuts down on lesser coin flip cards for 2x Ally of Justice Quarantine, which is a great tech when the top 2 decks are Light monsters. We’ve seen most decks run 3x Arfedeutyr, but this is back at 2x. 2nd – Zumaaazzzz w/ Balance Noble Knights: This version cuts Pellinore, but does include Brothers.Pellinore got dropped from some decks recently, but still features here. 1st – Fermin w/ Balance Noble Knights: Basically the Hey, Trunade! variant with fewer traps at 7.Top 4 – TvierK w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: Chaos Sorcerer variant, but just 2x Chaos Dragon Levianeer.Top 4 – Tinoco w/ Level Duplication Thunder Dragons: Skull Meister is back as a tech card, and Level Duplication has become the Thunder Dragon skill.2nd – SimoW w/ Harpies’ Hunting Ground Blackwings: Clinging on to Tier 3, this is pretty much the old Offerings to the Doomed reliant build.1st – VBellafiore w/ Balance BEWD: Balance build is taking form, which means BEWD is running more trap cards than ever, as evidenced by 3x Raigeki Break and 3x Karma Cut here.Search “The Duel Assessment Podcast,” Subscribe & Listen!
